This website gives a great introduction to the woolly mammoths that are found in Kenosha and Lake Counties. This site has a basic background of information about the mammoths and includes links to several of the excavation sites. There are also links to other websites. This may be a good starting point for our research. It doesn't look like it is too scientific or professional, but it may give us an idea of where else to search for resources.
